Family Roots Postpartum Care
I have been so blessed to have jobs I have loved all my life - wife, mother, grandmother, registered nurse, pregnancy care center director, lactation consultant and certified postpartum doula. It is hard to believe it has been over 48 years since nursing school.
Though I would never have thought so in nursing school, my focus has always been all things moms, babies and families.
This journey has taken me from basic knowledge of how babies are born to a deep respect of the profound changes that take place within the childbearing family, because we are so fearfully and wonderfully made.
