Supportive services provided include, but are not limited to:
*Assisting new parents with standard home management (meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, shopping).
*Infant care so you may focus on rest / feeding / nurturing your baby as well as recovery from pregnancy and childbirth.
*Feeding / infant care education tailored to your family's preferences/ needs.
*Sibling care in the presence of parents can be provided. An adult family member will need to be in the home during that time (brief periods of time away may be considered).
*In the event of an emergency every effort would be made to assist your family as needed.
*Although I do not provide medical care, as a postpartum doula certified by the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association, I am well versed in the normal postpartum recovery period and infant care. Should I feel the course of recovery is not going as planned, I will advise you to contact your/ your baby's health care provider.
*Liability insurance guidelines do not allow me to drive you to a destination but I would be glad to accompany you on a walk, on errands or to any appointments for yourself or your family.
